Ann has been a dental hygienist for over 30 years and has a passion for patient care and building relationships with patients. She is known for her gentle touch and has a knowledge base that comes with her years of experience. As one of our hygienists, she promotes a positive, comfortable experience in the office, and she is committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Ann’s background includes experience in periodontal dentistry, oral surgery, and orthodontic offices, as well as being a clinical instructor at Southern Illinois University. She completed her studies at Southern Illinois University and Harper College. Away from the office, Ann enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and is happily married to her high school sweetheart.

Christine joined the family at Modern Dental Care in early 2015. She graduated with her dental hygiene license from Fortis College in Phoenix. The knowledge from Christine’s extensive years of schooling allows her to deliver the highest level of care to every patient. Christine believes in improving oral health and she is committed to helping patients love their smiles. When she is not working, Christine likes to take short trips up north to hike and explore new places. She enjoys spending time with her family and stays busy with her commitment to lead worship at church throughout the week. One of Christine’s favorite things about being a dental hygienist is getting to know each patient’s specific needs and helping meet those individually.

Cortni joined Dr. Liu’s team in 2012 when she moved from Colorado to Phoenix. She began her dental career in high school as a dental assistant. After graduating from Colorado Northwestern Community College with her dental hygiene license in 2009, Cortni worked in Denver as a hygienist while earning her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene with a minor in business. Cortni’s hobbies stem from growing up in the mountains of northern Colorado. She loves to hike, camp, fish, ride horses, and practice yoga. Her passion is health, which she enjoys sharing with her patients. Cortni strives to make your time in the dental chair comfortable and educational so that your overall dental experience is a positive one.

Rebecca started working at Modern Dental Care in 2011 and began her career in the dental field in 2007. As the treatment coordinator, she is enthusiastic about her role in a team that’s creating positive experiences for our patients and changing lives one smile at a time. She is a longtime patient of Dr. Amy Liu and proud to work for a dentist who is truly passionate about the care she provides to her patients. Any weekend Rebecca can get away, she will be up north camping with friends and family. They love making fun home videos!

Alysha was raised in Puerto Rico and moved in 2012 from Connecticut to Arizona. Her background is in hair styling. The first thing she notices in a person is their smile! Getting to know new people to have conversations with them is one of her favorite things. Alysha is happy to welcome each patient to the office. She speaks Spanish fluently and in her spare time, does volunteer service. In addition, Alysha spends time with family and travels to Puerto Rico. She loves going to Fossil Creek with her dogs, too.

Aiza is from the Philippines, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Office Management. In 2016, Aiza moved to Arizona and attended the Arizona School of Dental Assisting. As a dental assistant, she loves to serve patients and take care of patients' oral health. Aiza loves what she does and always wants to learn something new. She believes in being hardworking to feel productive throughout the day. Spending time with family, church, and exercising at the gym are important to her. She also travels with her husband to see new places.
